I have been treating Chronic Lyme for 3 years with abxi. I have the HLA 4-3-53 genotype which makes eliminating toxins very difficult. Now I know I have Cpni as well, and have adapted my treatment regimen to cover Lyme AND Cpn.
I have used Cholestyramine in the past....but admittedly it has been a bit hit and miss, so I really want to "do it right" this time....I am going to start in the next few days.
So i have come up with this time table....could you please comment and tell me if this is OK?
7.00 Synthroid on empty stomach
7.30 Doxycycline, Azithromycin, Flagyli,NACi with a little food
8.00 Breakfast
10.00 CHOLESTYRAMINE.....mixed in milk and water, with a little fat, Acidophillus
12.30 Lunch. Supplementsi plus minerals
3.00 CHOLESTYRAMINE
6.00 Supper, Antibiotics, NAC
10.00 CHOLESTYRAMINE with a little fat, like butter, Acidophillus
2.00am CHOLESTYRAMINE
So I think this would give me 4 doses, away from meds and supplementsi/minerals by 2 hours at least.
If the Cholestyramine is taken with a little fat, does it have to be accompanied by some food as well?
Does this seem reasonable?
If anyone has a better idea, please tell me!!
Thanks,
Anne
