Walkaide Test Results
Submitted by doglover on Tue, 2008-02-12 12:09. Well it looks like good news. I had my appointment yesterday for the Walkaide device.
It works but would work better if I didn't have so much stiffness in my foot.
They like the setting of the device to be between 5 and 5.5 and mine was 9, which is quite a jolt though I barely felt it. So there is obvious nerve damage too.
We'll know better after I do a few months of physical therapy.
I'm guardedly optimstic.
I'll keep everyone posted.

An Itinerary in Light and Shadow...........Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MSi in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent. Still slowly improving and no exacerbation since starting. EDSSi was 7, now 2, less on a good day.
