The New-Age Halloween?

I smell a whiff of anti-vegan conspiracy here. I may complain to the editor!

For your information, we eat all sorts on Vega.

No Conspiracy honestly!

As it happens, it is still almost within living memory of a great many that a British citizen was tried and convicted of witcraft under The Wichcraft Act.

Hi, can you give as an idea of your comment, please? I guess, I did not understand it, because I felt also some anti-vegan comment. So, please, explain it.

By the way, if you are anti vegan argumentig with "Don't believe everything you read on the internet.” .... here, on the internet? Seems like a comment of a schizophrenic Tongue Out

Prague, The Czech Republic, on CAPi from December, 2005. Diagnosis before the treatment: chronic fatigue syndromei, chronic glandular fever and Epstein-Barr virus (EBVi), cHSP60 (chlamydia heat schock proteini) + 4,8.

He should be along soon to explain his humor, but let's start with the "Don't believe everything you read on the internet" quote, attributed to Abraham Lincoln.

Abraham Lincoln could not have made a comment about the internet, because the internet did not exist when Lincoln was alive.  Cool  That is the whole point of saying 'don't believe everything you see on the internet'. Anyone can say anything on the internet, but it isn't necessarily true just because somebody puts it on the internet.

And my vegan witches drawn by Mark Parisi were meant to be a contrast to David's witches in his two page rewriting of Macbeth.  Both Mark's and David's are extremely unlikelysince lettuce would turn to horrible mush in the pot and ladies didn't ride sidesaddle acros the Scottish moors in Shakespeare's time.  I guess they still don't today because they could so easily be thrown by the uneven ground!...................................Sarah

When I awoke from my slumber this morning – still bleary-eyed and half in a dream – I read this posting about “anti-vegan” and “schizophrenic “.  Briefly, I thought it must be Christmas.  I thought “Where is this from?”  I soon zoomed out on a Goole map to show roughly where Zdenicka’s from.  I kept zooming out until it showed a place called “Foreign”.   Hey, is that where the Sudetenland is?

This morning, I felt like a certain Captain Blackadder that had just be asked a tricky question by none other than Baldrick.

So, you did not understand.  Oh dear.  Ummmm.

“Schizophrenic”: that sounds rather Germanic to us.  Is it a German thingy like Alzheimer's and Jarisch Herxheimer is?  We really don’t want any of that sort of thing here … we’re British you know.  Anyway, even if any of that schizophrenic has managed to cross The Chanel, we’d be no more schizophrenic than Vegan is … and his mind-set is from another world.  Have you seen his picture?  Have you seen his colour?  He needs to eat a good bit of red meat for a few weeks … put a bit of colour in his cheeks.

Do you know, as I write this, I am reminded of a chap called Basil Fawlty:

Hey, the very suggestion that me/us are schizophrenic is utterly preposterous to us both.

Clearer now?

Do you know, maybe she is from Sudetenland, actually her ancestor was and her grandaunt was from Sudetenland too, she was displacemented (transferred) in 1945... she was 7 years old, the grandaunt, she was not German...

We are not native in English, but the grandaunt can not yet speak Czech, but we have the year 2014, we have an Internet, in the 1945 was none Internet...

Now, we have Internet, but there is a big problem, people speak many languages and sometimes understand the same words, sentences differently, that is the problem. The 1945 was schizophrenic and 1938... so "Don't Mention the War!"
