Recently we have had an influx of members who have come to us from other sites, with different experiences and different opinions. I thought it important to include a little bit of a vision statement for this site as a paragraph in the welcome message I send to all new members. I have italicised the paragraph.... Please let me know if we need something else in the message, but bear in mind that it cannot be too long or people wont read it.

Welcome to the CPNHELP.ORG community, a very supportive group of people following a Combined Antibiotic Protocol to treat Chlamydia Pneumoniae. If you want some support or questions answered, you will need to create a blog, otherwise you will remain fairly invisible to the majority of the members. Don’t hesitate, we have all been in your shoes; this community is the best resource to help you begin or sustain the treatment.
To start a blog, go to the box on the left headed with your username and under create content, click on blog entry. Also in that box you can find out what has been going on since you last logged on by clicking on recent posts.
Please make sure that when you post, your signature includes a description of what you are suffering from and which treatment you are receiving. It helps us to understand your questions. To add a signature to your posts, go to your profile (my account in the box below your name of the left of the page) and select the edit tab, at the bottom of the page there is an option to compose a signature statement. It also helps us to know roughly where you live, as there are ways in which we can direct you towards a doctor who might be able to prescribe for you. Unfortunately due to a quirk of the website the signature does not appear at the bottom of a blog entry, so you need to select one or more Categories (under Chlamydia Pneumoniae in the create blog window). To select more than one category hold down the control key (on a PC) and click on the relevant categories… Much of this information is repeated in the Getting Started section. (Tab at top of home page)
Recently a number of people have migrated from other websites and come to us with questions and suggestions regarding alternative forms of treatment. Although we are happy to discuss these, on Cpnhelp.org, we are fully committed to a Combined Antibiotic Protocol as formulated by Drs Stratton and Wheldon. We do not sell anything and we give our support freely and without reservation to anyone who needs it. A number of our members are medical doctors and scientific researchers but most of us are just expert patients and we ask you to take that into account when making decisions based on advice received here.
If you are looking to inform a doctor the link below might help. This document has been used by other members to help them inform a practitioner who was prepared to help them. Alternatively, some members who live in your part of the world may be able to recommend a CAP friendly doctor, so it is always worth posting that question. It’s my cue to come up with suggestions too.

I would say "a number of our members are medical professionals and doctors, as well as scientific ..."
We do have a number of nurses, practicing or no, and I'd bet more than a handful of medically accredited caregivers.
Good idea, Michele.
