Yes, the "F" word as in Finished my First week of Flagyli! (first pulse)I kinda went through the dos and donts of abxi. Like don't be too far from the bathroom when the rumbles in your tummy can signal the poopers and to DRINK,DRINK,DRINK alot of H20. I think I felt most thirsty in the beginning of the week but atleast my belly burning was tolerable. The taste of the flagyl is nasty but I figured that out quickly by eating a few bites of food and cutting a pill in 1/2 to take only 2 doses a day it worked.
I have learned to not count my chickens too early cause the new found legs can change in an instant! I figure it didn't take my body only a month to become disabled so it can't be all fixed in a month either. It's hard to believe that a disease that can put us in a wheelchair is so abundant in graces. I am now learning the grace of patience. until next pulse...

Kim was anticipating that she was going to have a lot of energy today, Friday the first post-pulse day. Contrarily, Kim is having a harder morning that is reminisent of her first few days on Azithromycin.
We did ultimately settle her stomach with nori to get rid of the buring acid feeling, one sheet did the trick. Nevertheless, I can tel she is happy to have completed her first pulse. Ken

Hey Kim & Ken,
I love the catch line! I was thinking gas, lol
glad you got the first pulse out of the way, I just finished up my 6th. I feel like such a wimp my doses are so low!
Pulses are just plain wierd!!! They can slap you the head with headaches & sinus & TMJ issues, kick you in the ash & anywhere you may have had a boo boo in the past & drop you to your knees in a heap of sappy emotions as quick as you can say flagyli curse.
Then it can give you energy & just smarten things right up for a time which serves to show how well we can actually be; & tempt us into doing pulses for longer durations!
Good job on the lessons learned. Now if I could just practice patience on all aspects of my life, I would be doing some serious growing! Well, I keep trying.
Keep at it, there is no turning back now!!! Expect the unexpected, I can tell you have the heart for this.

Hi Kim, welcome to the world of self-flagylation, it's a strange world, where we seem to be trying to make ourselves better by making ourselves feel worse. I've just completed my third pulse and the effects are a bit different to those of the last two. It feels like some kind of perverse lucky dip - what effects this time?
Congratulations on joining our band of voyagers through this "F" experience. You do need patience as the unexpected seems inevitable. I wish you all the best.
