Thanksgiving and a pulse

I am scheduled for a pulse this Friday. No way can I do it along with cooking Thanksgiving dinner. I have decided to postpone it until the Sunday after. What I am noticing is the pulses are hitting faster and deeper. It hit my upper back this last time causing muscle spasms that made it difficult to breath for 11 days. Muscle weakness and fastulations which are new hit too. I also had some fibro trigger points ache soooo I quess I have a touch of fibro. I don't seem to have the 3 day grace period as before. It flattens me on the second. I have had more good days this month even some downright I feel normal hours. It gives me the courage to slam myself again.

Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate.

 Lee, there is no reason

Lee, there is no reason at all that you shouldn't postpone your pulse.  When I began to emerge from the fog, I realized it was my legs who were running the show.  As I learned to listen, the pattern stabilized and developed a rhythm of its own:  5 days of flagyli, at least 5 days of mirror image recovery and just before my legs began their deafening clamor, a few hours at first and then a few incredible days of indescribable painfree near normalcy.   But, like you, I was flattened earlier and more severely each time.   Enjoy your postponement - you have earned it!  Have a great thanksgiving!

In the same way as Katman

In the same way as Katman describes, 5 days of flagyli and now nearly a week of pretty pain free days before the gut pain (in my case) returns, but a more 'robust' reaction as David likes to say, to the flagyl.   I have found also that if the tummy pain returns too strongly, too soon, that a low dose of flagyl helps until I am able to start the next pulse.
