I want to thank everyone who has made a donation to www.cpnhelp.org recently, and to those who have encouraged donations. I haven't had time to give personal thanks to each donor lately, but am deeply appreciative that people value this site enough to help maintain it.
You should all know that we really are doing fine and currently have more than enough to support any current website maintenance and upgrading. This community has been quietly and regularly helping out as we go along. It's quite amazing to me. Even a number of quiet "lurkers" who have not posted have shown their monetary appreciation. So don't feel pressured or worried, and give only if and when it suits.
I report our current balance and expenses periodically to an oversight committee which consists of Marie (Rhodes), Sarah Wheldon and our friend Macintosh. Although this site is not established as a non-profit, it felt to me to be the responsible thing to have others in our community holding me accountable. No monies are used for anything other than the website and furtherance of our mission here. This has allowed us to stay commercial-free without even a suggestion of commercial benefit to cloud the information here.
What you can also do is get the word out! Links from other websites, word on other forums, etc are really helpful. Getting your own stories of treatment and improvement out is even more impactful. The increasing reports of people finding already knowledgeable doctors is very heartening. The tide is beginning to turn, so let's keep it going!
