LDN books and Websites

LDNi - I have been on this medication since Feb 17,2009 4 1/2 months now.

I have viewed the speakers whose talks from past LDN Conferences are

available on the internet,

the weblinks are posted here on the CPnHelp website for anyone who is interested and viewing them.

This spring I order several of the most recent books on the topic.

Ongoing treatments -- more needed

Here I am, back again after several months, with a report on progress. As it turns out, I don't appear to be fully "cured", as I had reported in June. Back then, I had been well for a half year. My ulcerative colitis had seemed to utterly disappear. I had ramped down Asacol, the inflammatory bowel diseasei drug, entirely by March.

Need a Word of Encouragement

A word of encouragement?? I haven't checked in for quite a while. Been doing ok, but have been undergoing Vitamin C IV treatments for 4 weeks followed by Rifampin 150mg twice a day for 4 days.  My energy is zapped and the Rifampin feels like poision to my body.

Antibiotics to be available without prescription

This is the news:  In England, possible antibioticsi to be sold over the counter, to treat CHLAMYDIA!

This is the story form http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2008/aug/06/health<

Oral antibiotics are to be made available for the first time without doctor's prescription under guidelines approved yesterday by the medicines regulator.

A pill to treat chlamydia, the most commonly diagnosed sexually transmitted infection, will become available for purchase in pharmacies across England later this year.

CAP cure for inflammatory bowel disease

Here's an update and a full account of my experience with CAPi, which appears to have utterly cured my inflammatory bowel diseasei. My bowel symptoms completely disappeared as of November 2007. I'm continuing with CAP to ensure that all traces of Cpni have left me.

I first consulted a gastroenterologist in August 2005 when I developed rectal bleeding. I had had occasional indigestion and bowel symptoms for several years prior to that time, but never before had had rectal bleeding. A colonoscopy revealed "active chronic colitis", which my doctor interpreted as Crohn's disease. He prescribed a moderate dose of Asacol (600 mg), twice a day, warning me that I would have to continue to take it for the rest of my life. For a few weeks, my symptoms abated.

Now cured of inflammatory bowel disease

On the occasion of my son Norman's birthday today, I'd like to announce to you that it is not only Norman who is doing well in our family. It seems clear that I've been cured of inflammatory bowel diseasei once and for all.

Interruption of ABX – Waiting for Biopsies

Sunday night I went to the emergency room with severe abdominal pain (upper/lower left quadrant, front and back – [as an aside, I have experienced pain on my left side since almost the beginning of my ABXi in April of last year –2007].  I kept contributing the discomfort to possibly die off and/or my spleen.  My dr. could never find anything on x-rays or a cat scan, so I just kept plodding along, as it was not intolerable.

What to take for depression associated with CFS?

I need any information anybody can give me on overcoming depression associated with CFSi. I am currently taking 40 mg/ day Nortriptyline, 300 mg/day Wellbutrin, 75 mg/day DHEAi. I'm on a lot of anti-oxidants too.

Still experiencing moderate to severe depression. Most days, severe depression. What will help? Anything? Does Vitmain D help? I have to hold down my full time job and the depression (along with the fatigue) is REALLY taxing me and my motivation and could cost me my job if I can't find something to help.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Lynn

FMS symptoms, besides pain meds??

Good afternoon!

I've been having fibromyalgiai symptoms for the past 4 days- neck, left shoulder, back of head, band across my head from 1 temple to the other, down my spinal cord. I haven't dealt with fibro symptoms in several years and I can't remember what I can do to relieve my pain and stiffness.

I've been taking Lortab (Hydrocodone with acetaminophen) and/or Ultracet, aspirin, using a topical analgesic oil rub and a moist heat wrap. I'm also stretching. I've considered the chiropractor and massage therapist just haven't made appointments yet.

Restless Legs??? Need answers quick please!

Restless legs?? Need answers quick please! I was out last night with my friend when all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have a seizure.  I have felt this way on and off since starting the protocol so I know it's part of the cpni (besides having a hx of these sizures which i now know is Cpn related seizures). Had not had feelings of a seizure in a couple of years before CAPi protocol. Anyway, after that I realized that I felt I could not stand up. My legs were so weak and I started having the sensation that ants were crawing inside legs. Haven't had restless leg syndrome since last winter with EBVi. And it got really bad last night.

Best day yet! Quick update...

Best day yet! Quick update on my health... I'm in 2nd week of NACi 600mg, Doxyi 200mg, and Erythromycin 250mg and I actually had a decent day. Had stamina for about 6 full hours of work today and I've been online a while tonight. I was only nauseated once today and was able to knock it out with some good ole' fashion compazine. I've been stuffy for several days and sneezing, but not so bad that I can't deal with it! Much better than the NAC flu!

I'm tiring now, but actually feel like I can say I felt better today than I have since starting CAPi. I'm trying not to set myself up by reminding myself that tomorrow is a new day, come what may, and not to get discouraged if this doesn't last.

Need to talk to someone soon

Need to talk to someone soon.  I'm feeling a little desperate at the moment.  Don't know how to IM, willing to learn or willing to just e-mail back and forth.

Back again after months with a report

I've been on CAPi with Wheldon supplementsi since January 2007 to treat what was first diagnosed as Crohn's diseasei the year before. I'm under the care of a neurologist, with plenty of assistance from my son Norman Yarvin, who is well known here. We also figured that CAP would help with my arthritis (which has also been associated with Crohn's disease).
