stomach issues

Hi. Haven't been in here for awhile, hoping somebody help with a bit of insight. At one time I did very well on this CPNi protocol.

Have had some other perosnal issues and protocol changes that threw me out of whack since then.

So got a problem now, hopefully somebody can point me in the right direction.

Having trouble with Antibioticsi and my stomach when I take them.

It started off after taking some chelators about 6 months or so ago. I had a bad case of gastritis or something after taking them. I was able to clear up whatever happened, and it seemed as though it may have been a stomoch infection becuase it cleared up with flagyli, amox, and doxyi. Slowly was able to improve my stomach situation.

However, now I have the same gastritis problem back, and the antibiotics seem to make my gastritis (or whatever it is) worse. Almost like my gallbladder, or stomach gets freezed up.

Haven't tried again, but pretty sure doxy, amox, and flagyl seem to make the problem worse now.

Any thoughts on where to go from here?

thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark

Do you take NACi and, most of all, probiotics?  If you take plenty of probiotics and have stomach problems, maybe your stomach is being "worked on".  There are people here who have had their version of this and may shed more light than I can.  Good luck.

Hi there Rica,

I'm not sure, but think the NACi may aggravate things more if I were to take it. However, I've done very well on NAC in the past when I could tolerate it.

I'm taking pro-biotics and saccramyces but think that may not be it. I do need pro-biotics though. It seems as though the probiotics may help with the stomach issues.

Be sure to drink lots of water with NACi.  It is an important part of the protocol for a couple of reasons:  it fights this bug itself and it protects our liver.  There is no way to escape all the symptoms.  Be sure to check this out with your doctor, too, to rule out other things.  How is your D3 level?  Also, drink plenty of water with your abxi and make sure they are two hours away from supps.

Glad you're back.

Hi, Mark,  yeast in the stomach (and yes, it can get in the stomach and gallbladder) can cause the same problems (acid reflux, gastritis, pain).

I had the same problems -- the ABXi was making it worse (but, of course, this was after about 3.5 years)..... Sometimes it's very difficult to determine if one is killing the bacteria or contributing to a possible  yeast problem.  Have you been tested for H. Pylorii?  Parasites?  Tried changing your diet (Candida Diet)?

Just some thoughts ...hope it gets better.

Thanks everybody.

Interesting about the yeast in the stomach. that could very well be. I'm taking matula tea and some "gum mastic" thinking it might have been H pylori. It seems to help some.

The yeast idea seems like it may make sense becuase I have all kinds of congestion to go with my stomach pain.

I have some nystatin tablets. Would that be best for clearing this up if were yeast, or would oregano or grapeseed extract work?

Thanks

Mark
