interesting. There comes my culture into this picture. Since i am hungarian, we have this custom for about 1000 years. Old baths were we have at least 6 different temprature pools to train yourself and your body with that. Also many different saunas, and steam-wet saunas. Hardcore guys (as i did many times before) go to the hottest water which is about over 42C , it is burning your skin. Then you straight away jump into the very cold one which is ice cold (maybe bit over 10C). Well first time you feel your heart stops. 3rd time you dont even feel the difference between the 2 huge temperatures differences.It is the same feeling being in the cold and hot pool. It is funny. People who do this once a week in a winter time, never get the flu or other diseasesi. It helped me a lot as well, however you must be in a good status already, you cant do this in the beginning of CPNi treatment rather at the end when your body can bear this training....
