Jim - I like the idea of the chatbox being there, but there should be some mechanism to show others that someone has entered the chatbox.  The small, same-size type, note is not noticeable.  A couple of times, when you have been online and I have tried to 'chat' with you, no response....   and I'm sure      that was because you didn't notice my entry or message.  Maybe a flash on the screen or the "MacKintosh has entered the chatbox" message in RED, would do the trick.

I agree with Mac, it's hard to tell if someone enters the box. Also, a scheduled chat on a particular subject where members are invited might be a good idea. It may be hard for people in different time zones, but could be archived.

Feeling 98% well-going for 100. Very low test for Cpni. CAPi since 8-05 for Cpn/Mycoplasma P.,Lyme, Bartonella, Mold exposure,NACi,BHRT, MethyB12 FIRi Sauna. 1-18-11 begin new treatment plan with naturopath

It doesn't show up unless one refreshes the screen, or enters the chatbox as soon as you are online and then clicks the notify button. It's good to hear that others use it, even if it's not the best set up. If it's useful to anyone, we'll leave it up. Users can always choose in their account to have it not show! At least we are getting to try out the "Poll" module!

On Wheldon/Stratton protocol for Cpni in CFSi/FMSi since December 2004.

The chatbox feature is limited to what it is. Not fancy. Anyone is welcome to post a fixed time they will be available or a regular time they want to organize. Send it to me and I'll get it up on the 'Site News" sidebar!

Well, it was very nice talking to both Jim and Jon, albeit unintentionally, and finding out that Jon's hobby is working with stained glass..........Sarah (with an "H")
