Should i take my antibiotics at the same time?

im on a capi for cfsi and take doxyi 2 times a day, Azithromycin m/w/f and met last 7 of every 4 weeks.

But on the days i have to take them i always space them out as i thought taking them together would be wrong but im not sure?

Should i be taking them close together for effectiveness?

I don't think it makes a difference in terms of effectiveness, most people take them according to a schedule that suits their routine.   I take all mine together unless I am suffering from indigestion in which case I space them out throughout the day.   If you are taking other substances such as probiotics, calcium and magnesium you should take these about 2 hours away from ABXi.

Guvner, I take the minoi

Guvner,

I take the minoi (in place of doxyi) once in the morning with my meds before supplementsi containing cal/mag and eating, on an empty stomach, then Zithi + mino (second dose) at night with my evening meal and supplementsi w/o cal/mag as I take the cal/mag right before bedtime.  Smile

If it doesn't upset your stomach, there is no other reason to take your antibioticsi separately from each other. Do what works best for you.

I've recently added

I've recently added Azithromycin into my routine and have discovered that I can take my ABXi together after lunch with no problem, but if I take them after suppertime I get stomach upset which is hard to settle -- even if the post supper timing is equal to the post lunch.

An aside of sorts: Since adding the second ABXi my NACi reactions have returned (from what I read this can be expected) and that makes it even more important for me to distance the NAC (which I take morning and bedtime) from the ABX -- in order to keep any reactions I may experience, from either intake, far apart so they will be easier to handle.
