Rick had his 2nd MRI - since starting his CAP Protocol, tonight. Results = HIS MS HAS "TURNED OFF" per his Neurologist!!

Hi Folks,

Rick has just had his 2nd MRI, tonight, since starting his CAPi Protocol.  The first one showed no new lesions.  He has just done 4 pulses, instead of rifampin (which I don't understand or trust as much a flagyli or tinii, because most folks here have done one or the other).  Please wish him "luck" - hopefully we will start to see the lesions starting to shrink, or at the least, no new or growing lesions!

He's been quite the trooper on his protocol and other treatments ( biotin, ketogenic diet, etc. ).

Best & Highest Regards,

Tom C

FOLKS:

Thank you for all of your very kind thoughts and wishes!  Rick is still in the battle - and has ups and downs - of course.  But - now, it appears to HIM that he can win this battle!!

Wishing him all the best for his results Tom.  Fingers crossed.  Irene

Fingers crossed for both of you! Even no enhancing lesions will be good news.......Sarah

Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MSi in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent.   Still improving bit by bit and no relapses since finishing treatment.

YEE HAW!!!

Well - Rick has gotten his results.  He has NO new enhancing lesions, no MSi activity now.  His Stanford Neurologist says his MS has "turned off!"  The lesions he has apparently aren't shrinking.  Perhaps that will come with time and more pulsing with Flagyli - vs. taking Rifampin.

He is relieved and very upbeat.  He and Matt - his helper, are shopping today for an exercise bench.  This is the 2nd MRI where this has been true, though I don't think the Doctor said his MS has turned off before.

This is FREAKIN' Awesome!

Folks - I want to thank you for your positive thoughts - and for all of the information and experieces you've shared - as I've said before, your personal stories and experience - gave us the courage - me and Rick - to try this protocol.

My very best & Highest Regards,

Tom C

Great news Tom, very validating for the CAPi therapy.  I'm delighted for you as a family.  I wonder if you have checked out the latest info on MitoQ http://www.mitoq.com - it helps regeneration in neurodegenerative diseasesi.  Irene

Hi Irene,

I haven't checked out that latest news - but will.  Rick is taking something that is pretty similar - a very absorble form of CoQ10 - ubiquinol.  That said, I don't know the doseage for remylination, nor do I know that ubiquinol is as good as MitoQ.  I will check it out.  Thank you!

Hi Tom!

I am very happy that you have had the results of your son that you hoped for. I I'm not at all surprised that the results are as they are;I never expected anything different.

The road to recovery will be long and uncertain but Rick is on that road nevertheless. Please pass on my good wishes to him.

Fantastic news!

I wanted to share that blueberries will heal brain lesions. The best are the frozen wild berries that Trader Joes carries. One cup a day. Best eaten not with protein.

I had a 1 cm spot on my Pons that disappeared after 6 months on CAPi and eating blueberries every daY. Coconut oil is also good for the brain and is antiviral.
