Quick update

HI all,

Hope all are doing ok. I just thought I would check in and give a quick report. My own health is much better since I gave up eaten all gluten... Its been about 8 months now with no gluten and I am sooooooo much better, the colon problems I had been having are much better now, although the colon remains not 100%, I am able to forget about it most of the time and just get on with life. Sleep has improved also.

I advise all to give up Gluten, I think it is playing major a role in inflamation (for some) and many people I have seen now have also found similar problems and results.

For those who are interested in documentaries, I have had a big injection of great new docuemntaries on the docuementary site: http://doc-film.net (most free).

Anyway I will keep it short, just wanted to check in as its been so long.

hi bleu, Very good to hear

hi bleu, Very good to hear from you, and congratulations on doing so well. Hopefully those colon problems will continue to wane over time, and you'll be able to forget about them completely. Have you considered using a probiotic product called VSL #3? Pretty good stuff and actually made for folks with colon problems. Best wishes,

Cheers for the VSL #3

Cheers for the VSL #3 recommedation, I not tired it but since finance is not so bad anymore, I shall go get meself some right now online.

I have not done any ABXi for at least 4-5 years.

I did 18 months of antifungals, lamisil (worked great in the prostatei) and fungilin (oral amp b) cured the constipation, that I had had for 4 years since the abxi.

Cutting gluten out made a huge difference to the colon and general health. Now all I take is some zinc, magnesium, and some stuff to relax the colon to help it function. It is clear there is a stricture (narrow section) caused by the campylobactor infection with followed on from a course of Cipro (which cured the ReA along with Biaxin). Cipro also cured the Campylobactor but not before 6 months was wasted by retards in the NHS.

Right hope all contintues to improve for everyone. Off to order some   VSL #3.

Bleu- Great to hear from

Bleu- Great to hear from you. It's good to hear your energy and time is focused on living rather than on health! Your CAPi has been not the conventional one here but it did the trick and your persistance with the antifungals really paid off after. I wish I could tolerate Lamisil myself, gave me terrible stomach reactiions. Oh well.

Hi bleu, Great to hear

Hi bleu,

Great to hear you're doing better now.  I rarely take probiotics.  I have found that for me, the IBSi seems to be related with my body ridding toxins after die off and also I believe it may have started from secondary porphyriai before I knew what it was years ago and while on the MPi.

Now I use cholestyramine during and a few days after pulsing and my bowel symptoms are all nearly normal.

Thanks for posting.  It's good to see you're still around and healing.  Smile
