It has been some time since I have updated my blog so here goes.  What to say???, breath, wind me up &&& …. I have been disengaged on the site as I just haven’t had the mindset to handle the stress.  I apologize for this as I know that my support has made a difference to some.  I found myself reading the posts and was getting stressed out & frustrated with it all.

Melatonini [12] instead of Benzodiazepines - interesting!

I am taking lorazepam for sleep and want to come away from it. Might be interesting for others how take sleep meds or benzos.

Did anyone took benzodiazepines and melatonin together (for the first few weeks of benzo decrease)?

A word of encouragement?? I haven't checked in for quite a while. Been doing ok, but have been undergoing Vitamin C IV treatments for 4 weeks followed by Rifampin 150mg twice a day for 4 days.  My energy is zapped and the Rifampin feels like poision to my body.

We got our FIRi [94] sauna set up last weekend and I have been eagerly but cautiously using it for 10 min. at the start of my day after drinking water to hydrate first thing. Probably the most interesting result thus far is it restarted the eye burning, sneezing, bronchial irritation with resulting cough. These are all at minor degrees but nevertheless it is a direct response to using the sauna I believe as nothing else has changed in  my environment. The heat from the sauna feels soothing on my sore back and shoulders but causes some itching and then later in the day they ache again especially at night. But less so than on the MPi [95] and prior to starting the NACi [14], supplementsi [19], etc.

I need any information anybody can give me on overcoming depression associated with CFSi [97]. I am currently taking 40 mg/ day Nortriptyline, 300 mg/day Wellbutrin, 75 mg/day DHEAi [98]. I'm on a lot of anti-oxidants too.

Still experiencing moderate to severe depression. Most days, severe depression. What will help? Anything? Does Vitmain D help? I have to hold down my full time job and the depression (along with the fatigue) is REALLY taxing me and my motivation and could cost me my job if I can't find something to help.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Lynn

SUPPLEMENTSi [32]!!!

All sorts of pills in different shapes and sizes, and BRANDS.  So here's the question - Does anyone detect differences between one or the other?  Does it matter where we buy them? Is NACi [14] the same regardless of where it's bought?

Went to my Dr on Monday after six weeks of Doxyi [25] 200mg/MWF of Azith 250..time to add the  bad boy.  Flaygl.  He voted for 250 1x day for 5 days since I had only minor reactions to the other meds.

Went straight to CVS and took my first dose Monday night.   Tues, Wed, Thursday came and went, I have been working about 50 to 58 hours the past couple of weeks and still doing reasonably well.   Sat in the infrared sauna for 30 mins on Tues evening and got shaky so no more for the week.

Good afternoon!

I've been having fibromyalgiai [8] symptoms for the past 4 days- neck, left shoulder, back of head, band across my head from 1 temple to the other, down my spinal cord. I haven't dealt with fibro symptoms in several years and I can't remember what I can do to relieve my pain and stiffness.

I've been taking Lortab (Hydrocodone with acetaminophen) and/or Ultracet, aspirin, using a topical analgesic oil rub and a moist heat wrap. I'm also stretching. I've considered the chiropractor and massage therapist just haven't made appointments yet.

Restless legs?? Need answers quick please! I was out last night with my friend when all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have a seizure.  I have felt this way on and off since starting the protocol so I know it's part of the cpni [99] (besides having a hx of these sizures which i now know is Cpn related seizures). Had not had feelings of a seizure in a couple of years before CAPi [100] protocol. Anyway, after that I realized that I felt I could not stand up. My legs were so weak and I started having the sensation that ants were crawing inside legs. Haven't had restless leg syndrome since last winter with EBVi [108]. And it got really bad last night.

Best day yet! Quick update... [109]

Best day yet! Quick update on my health... I'm in 2nd week of NACi [14] 600mg, Doxyi [25] 200mg, and Erythromycin 250mg and I actually had a decent day. Had stamina for about 6 full hours of work today and I've been online a while tonight. I was only nauseated once today and was able to knock it out with some good ole' fashion compazine. I've been stuffy for several days and sneezing, but not so bad that I can't deal with it! Much better than the NAC flu!

I'm tiring now, but actually feel like I can say I felt better today than I have since starting CAPi [100]. I'm trying not to set myself up by reminding myself that tomorrow is a new day, come what may, and not to get discouraged if this doesn't last.

Ok, my name is john. i'm going to try to write this quick and keep it relatively short because my thoughts come and GO pretty fast. i've gotten used to it and it only irritates me in times like this when it's important for me to get the thoughts on the paper fast. I'm here because of a friend and a discussion that we were having about the length of time someone can have these problems and still be moderately functional as a person. JimK's name was brought up because apparently he had this problem for quite some time. i would have written him directly but i thought it would be more appropriate to do this...

Happily I can report nothing too dramatic.   Friday evening had some very weird jolts of electic shocks in my left hip and then in my left foot.  Glad I had read on here that was a possibility so the weird stuff doesn't freak me out too bad.  Now it's more of an out of body experience of "Hmmm, that was odd" and keep on going.
