It has been some time since I have updated my blog so here goes.  What to say???, breath, wind me up &&& …. I have been disengaged on the site as I just haven’t had the mindset to handle the stress.  I apologize for this as I know that my support has made a difference to some.  I found myself reading the posts and was getting stressed out & frustrated with it all.

Between 24-36 hours after my last dose of SMZ/TMP DS 800-160 otherwise known as Bactrim double strength I felt the tide turn and the infection was rushing back in much too quickly. Fear of what would be if I did not take action. With new found confidence that I CAN take full dose antibioticsi [3] I swallowed my first 50 mg of Minocycline. Gulp and deep breath ... here we go.... Oh my gosh ... what have I done? ha ha ha ( in a diabolical tone) Why does something with such a formidable name as the first above stated antibiotic have less reaction than a silly little dose of Minocycline?

I'm stepping off [25]

I have been more debilitated, for a longer continual period of time than ever in my life, since starting the CAPi [32].

I have been bed ridden almost completely for 6 weeks. I am in pain, I am weak, I throw up almost every day. I finally learn which anti-porphyric and endotoxini [33] measures work best for what, and how and when to take them, when the very measures that are supposed to help me end up making me sicker. I do all the things right so that I don't get side effects -- from anything -- and I am run over and flattened. I should not feel this bad, I'm doing everything not to.

If Lyme can be caused though having a root canal done -as it is said by the Doctor Steven Harris, M.D, in the conference he presented - the link given here by lifeontheice [41]: and now I read in the website healingdaily an article called “Should you have root canals? Where they talk about this Doctor, expert in root canals, who then found that this “repair in the tooth” might be the biggest cause of bacteria in the mouth and then the body. The article says:

This is the story form http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2008/aug/06/health [95]

Oral antibiotics are to be made available for the first time without doctor's prescription under guidelines approved yesterday by the medicines regulator.

A pill to treat chlamydia, the most commonly diagnosed sexually transmitted infection, will become available for purchase in pharmacies across England later this year.

As I write this today I am not fully recovered but will try my best to convey what my latest experience involved. Am writing this with my right eye closed as a matter of fact. So anyway ... what I want to write about in my blog today is reflective of years of chronic illness that I merely pushed off as hormonal induced migraines that we women had to bear in life. Of course ... I think I know better now. Not that hormones cannot play a role in this illness but that I know the true instigator I believe.

Most of the Doctors just look at a symptom and treat it the way they think;  - they know it all.  Then, the diagnose comes, like an etiquette of a product. Does someone looks what is behind the symptom?  Which is the cause, and the cause of this cause?

One Doctor -cardiologist-  saw me and when he found out I was multisymtomatic gave me some pills for the anxiety, nothing else.

I was going to post updates with my progress monthly but having being overwhelmed with trying to keep up with life and treatment, I am way  behind.

Anyway, here I go. I started back in Jan'08 with big doses of CAPi [32] (3 abxi [3]) and after extremely severe die-off reactions and stopping a couple of times, I re-started nice and slow in Feb'08, adding 1 abxi [103] at the time, making small changes and ramping up.

Finally on full doses of current protocol - Rifampin 600 mg/day and Doxyi [26] 100 mg x 2/day - since mid-March.

History :

Following inhalation of particles in a tunnel in 2003-july (transport of several trucks of cattle preceded my car) I had a feverish state (starting same day) which lasted 4 days (no temperature, just important cold sweat) + drip syndrome (started not more than 1hour after exposure).

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this post.

I was not able to locate information referencing contraindications to my Rx topicals.

Please pardon me if this is covered elsewhere.

I'll start with a bit about where I'm at and have been.

Mental

I'm a graphic designer who works from home. I have a happy homelife and a positive worklife. I believe that i am a healthy person, I just do not physically feel like one. I have long suspected that everything I experience is tied together, so am really happy to see this Web site. I want to live my life again: I want to go outside into the sunshine; ride a bike; shop in a store!

I went to see my Lyme dr for a monthly appt. and came back home all disturbed and worried. This was my 4th appt with this dr and I am still in the beginning phase of the CAPi [32] tx. By this time my dr and I should be developing a working relationship but it's not happening. During appt he asked - Remind me, how long have you been sick? So I told him my story again very briefly. As I mentioned that I saw rheum dr before finding him, he asked - And Rheum didn't find anyhting? That surprised me completely b/c on my 1st appt with this dr I brought to him consult notes from the rheum dr stating the dx and plan of tx (not CAP, of course but prednisolone & Sulfasalazine). I felt he didn't remember my case at all.
