Ongoing treatments -- more needed [1]

Here I am, back again after several months, with a report on progress. As it turns out, I don't appear to be fully "cured", as I had reported in June. Back then, I had been well for a half year. My ulcerative colitis had seemed to utterly disappear. I had ramped down Asacol, the inflammatory bowel diseasei [3] drug, entirely by March.

Here's an update and a full account of my experience with CAPi [5], which appears to have utterly cured my inflammatory bowel diseasei [3]. My bowel symptoms completely disappeared as of November 2007. I'm continuing with CAP to ensure that all traces of Cpni [6] have left me.

I first consulted a gastroenterologist in August 2005 when I developed rectal bleeding. I had had occasional indigestion and bowel symptoms for several years prior to that time, but never before had had rectal bleeding. A colonoscopy revealed "active chronic colitis", which my doctor interpreted as Crohn's disease. He prescribed a moderate dose of Asacol (600 mg), twice a day, warning me that I would have to continue to take it for the rest of my life. For a few weeks, my symptoms abated.

I've been on CAPi [5] with Wheldon supplementsi [8] since January 2007 to treat what was first diagnosed as Crohn's diseasei [3] the year before. I'm under the care of a neurologist, with plenty of assistance from my son Norman Yarvin, who is well known here. We also figured that CAP would help with my arthritis (which has also been associated with Crohn's disease).
