Is it mandatory to take 2400mg of NAC a day. I was wondering if I could take 1200 a day?

Most of us start low then ramp up as and when we can to 2400mg. Some people have stayed with 1200mg for quite some time but as time goes on you will find it easier to take. It does pack quite a punch doesn't it - but then so does CPNi [2] if you don't keep chipping away at it. The great thing about NACi [4] is that it is liver protective for abxi [6] use.
