Elevated IGE in because of cpn infection?

Hi to all !

Does anybody know if CPNi [1]i [2] can cause a high level of serum IGE (mine is 3000) ? Maybe because of asthmai [3]i [4] or to cpn in general? I know that intracellulari [5]i [6] bacteria like coxiella burnetti can cause IGE levels that high. So why not cpn?

So I am going to test my Ige levels again after beeing 4 month on capi [7]i [8] and hopefully they are going down.

Anyone else have high IGE levels?

Regards

Cesare

Sorry Cesare, I don't know

Submitted by Michele on Mon, 2008-06-09 10:07.

Sorry Cesare, I don't know anything about these tests, other maybe that your levels may well be higher in the spring possibly because of the high pollen levels.   In my experience the problems that we have with allergies and sensitivities take a while to reduce.   So it may be too soon for you to notice any change.

Thanks Michele! Yes maybee

Thanks Michele! Yes maybee its to early . I m on capi [7] for 3,5 months. So maybee when the apoptosisi [17] goes on my immunei [18] system doesn t react so strange. I thought it might be as well an reaction to cpni [1]. Other intracellulari [5] bacteria can cause such high ige levels.

Hi Cesare, here is some [19]

Submitted by AndreasHH on Wed, 2008-06-11 06:29.

Hi Cesare,

here is some information:

http://www.openpr.de/news/74467/IgE-und-IgGi [20]-sind-keine-Allergie-Indikatoren.html

Sorry to all the others, there is no English translation avaible. Use a machine if you're interested.

In a nutshell: The linked text states that common interpretations of immunei [18] globuline antibodies are highly questionable. A linkage between Ig of any kind and certain wanted or unwanted immune activities cannot be made. Interpretating immune activity on data of bio-chemical processes only is way to short.

I used to have an awful lot of heavy allergies following my lung inflammationi [21] in 2002. Ig-X-based therapies never produced any results. I got rid of my allergies with that alternative method. Today, I don't even want to know what my Ig-X's are. Nobody has ever been able to draw helpful conclusion out of that information. Ig-X plots are a waste of time from a patient's point of interest. May scientists find the true meaning of them some day ...

Greez

Andreas

Cesare, HERE is a link to [24]

Submitted by Reenie on Wed, 2008-06-11 23:47.

Cesare,

HERE [25]is a link to the definition of IgE from Wikipedia.  You can read it in German if you like. Smile

It would seem to me that when your body is fighting any sort of infection, you could have elevated antibodies.  I'm still waiting for the results of all of my testing to see what my numbers look like.

I think all these numbers do is give us clues as to how our immunei [18] system is functioning at any given time but it doesn't tell us really what's happening.

3/08 NACi [11] 2400 mg, 4/08 Iodoral 25 mg, 5/08 minoi [22] 100mg, 6/08 Zithi [26] 250mg MWF, myco+ CFIDSi [9]/FMSi [27], Hashimoto's, Psoriasis, PA, IBSi [10], Secondary Addison's

When I change what I believe I change what I do

Thanks for your replies! I

Submitted by Cesare on Thu, 2008-06-12 09:18.

Thanks for your replies! I am wondering if anybody else have high Immunglobulin E levels as a sign for an intracellulari [5] pathogen like cpni [1]?

Any of you measured the ige levels?

Warmest regards
