Are there any fellow members from the UK or Belgium here? Or Europe for that matter?

kitty, hello, there are quite a few from the UK, and from other european countries from time to time; not so sure about belgium.  if you hang around you will see people have signatures at the bottom of their posts, saying what their health problems are and the drugs/supplementsi [2] they are on (look at mine below!).  If you add your own (i think you have to go into 'my account' on the left of your screen, then choose 'edit' and schroll down a little) people can know more about you at a glance too and are clearer when you ask a question.

M.E./CFSi [1] 20 years, intermittent.  Wheldon Protocol - Started NACi [3] and supplementsi [4] Sept 2007. Doxyi [5] and Roxy full dose by Dec '07.  First Flagyli [6] pulse January 2008.

Although I live in the UK, I was born in Belgium and lived in France when I was a child. Not much help to you now but definitely there is a feeling of a growing global community.

  I'm English as I probably [14]

I'm English as I probably told you a year ago, when you first joined he site.  I also said that my husband only has time to see patients with a neurologist's diagnosis of MSi [15].  Michèle has probably sent you  list of possible doctors but it might mean traveling to someone in the north of England who is expensive, since doctors in Switzerland seem either very conformist or in love with homeopathic remedies............Sarah

An Itinerary in Light and Shadow...........Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MS in June 2007, after nearly four years, three of which intermittent.   Still slowly improving and no exacerbation since starting. EDSSi [13] was 7, now 2, less on a good day.
