Well that's week 2 done. 200mg of Doxyi [1] and all the expected horrors really haven't happened. YAY ME!
I've had no gastric problems at all since I developed the morning biscuit and oils routine I mentioned in my last post but I have noticed I was putting on a bit of weight. This is a me thing. I've always avoided breakfast as I found it piled the pounds on so the biscuits had to go. I'm now having a fruit feast. Somebody recommended a goat but I couldn't possibly eat a whole one.
Anyway, complex carbs and stuff. Our local supermarket sells fruit packs. This one, I'm picking at it as I type, contains Strawberries, Raspberries, Blackcurrants and Blueberries. Great snack stuff, helps with the 5 a day and so far, no bloating. It remains to be seen what the scales say next week.
So today I took my first dose of Zithi [2]. One hour in and nothing untoward.
What of the last week though. Well:
Improvements
For many months I've had a weeping rash in the nape of my neck. It scabbed over but would never go away completely. It's gone!
I had ear problems. I'd get the most awful itching deep inside that I just couldn't get at. It kind of felt like maybe there was something running around in there. Poking around with cotton buds just resulted in sore ears and weeping. That has now gone.
My balance and co-ordination improved no end until yesterday when I forgot the MS mantra - don't get overheated - and promptly found that my left side developed the tremors and my eyes began pulsing like mad. Having cooled down it improved but it's not back to where it was.
No changes
Brain fog. Well not strictly brain fog but really bad word problems. MacKintosh calls it 'typing dyslexia' and that's it exactly. I've always been able to hammer away on the keyboard at considerable speed. I'd end up with one typo per paragraph. Now I find I'm constantly one key away from where I should be and have to slow right down or you just get complete garbage. I also get - new disease here - Word Transposia. Certain words always get replaced by other words. I know what I want, I'm thinking it, I'm seeing it, but you see or hear the other word.
Shakes under stress. If I overdo it my left side develops a jump. It's most noticable when I'm trying to hard to overcome the Word Transposia whilst typing something in a hurry. My left hand starts to spasm slightly.
The eye switches. One day I can work at my PC using my Computer glasses. Next day I need my reading glasses, next day no glasses. Close up vision doesn't seem to change, still can't see a darn thing on the pill bottles. Why do they sell pills for eye problems with such small type?
Worsened.
Another new disease here - Waterfallicus Sprintosis. This consists of profuse sweating regularly interspersed with mad dashes to the bathroom. My other half says I'm wearing a groove in the carpet. I'm putting this down to having run out of Chlorella for two days, as the sweats have now eased off, and the increased intake of water due to the vast amount of pills.
A light switches on.
I have however had an epiphany. The over heating thing leads me to think that I may have had MS some time ago rather than the recent diagnosis. Two years ago we were invited to a Christening which took place on one of the hottest days we've ever had. The party afterwards was in a marquee in their garden and I felt so ill I had to get Harv to take me home.
Now admittedly I'd been burning the candles both ends and hadn't arrived home until 4am that morning but I had slept through until 12. It's one of the problems with my side hobby of organising music gigs. They don't finish until well after midnight and by the time you've paid the band and door staff, got all the gear packed back into vans and made sure there are no legless punters asleep under the tables, if you've forgotten to book a hotel room, as I did, you have a long slog home before bed. So it may have been due to tiredness but I'd done it before without problem.
I have another one running in Bedford on June 14th. I have a room booked this time and if I forget my meds it's just a short stagger round to Sarah and David for emergency top up! How handy is that?
Seriously though, Sarah if you and the amazing Mr W would like to come to the gig please feel free. We also expect to have some free tickets available for the SoulSunday open air concert in Bedford in August. Tickets are normally £30 each, so if soul music is your thang, shout and I'll see if I can hide a couple.

Mary Ann, sorry, maybe it
Mary Ann, sorry, maybe it was in a post. Very straight forward.
I take several oil based supps, Evening Primrose, Omega3.
First thing, I take all my morning supps and all of the oils with water. I then have a cup of tea, theory being the warm liquid helps melt the capsules faster. Then I have something small to eat, a Digestive biscuit (Graham Cracker) but toast would do. Then I take the abxi [11] with water.
If you have a full breakfast then just have that instead of the biscuit.
I've found that stops any acid problems

I suspect that
I suspect that Andesine-Speak will generate a whole stop-word list of it's own Jim. One could surmise that this is a manifestation of MSi [17] euphoria, but I rather think that this condition predated the disease.
