If you check in the handbook, there are many things that can be used for the die off sxi [11].  There is glucose, Charcoal, Emergen C &/or Vitamin C flushing & complex carbohydrates; others have tried cholestyramine/questran as well.

Are you also taking the supplementsi [2] including the anti oxidants as these will help your organs deal with the extra work they are going through to flush away the bad stuff.

Carbs could be the problem. I tend to eat a lot of fish, chicken and salads and avoid anything that is too heavy. With the bloating the last thing I wanted was a bowl of pasta. I noticed in DW's info it says about meals being 70% carbs. To me that's like saying "here, get fat".

Andesine, I'm sorry, but I laughed so hard when I read your post that it took at least a minute before I could type! The fish oil is about 15 calories and probably with the others - like celery - it takes more energy to take them than they have. But the carbohydrate talk is the important thing. This is the time, if you are not already, to begin eating a judicious amount of whole-grain, high fiber carbohydrate. It doesn't have to be much, but half a piece of whole grain bread can help a lot and last a long time. My first meal of the day is usually a small amount of cereal with the following in it: a cut up banana, raisins, about 8 pecan halves, blueberries, honey, and now fresh strawberries, all with our fresh goat milk over it.

Andesine,  Here's a good target for blame (it's the one I'm using anyway).  The inflammationi [20] from our immunei [21] reactions to the infectionsi [22] increases cortisol, which tends to make us pack it on around the belly.  The CAPi [9] involves cyclical increases of inflammation---more cortisol.  This isn't a truism for everyone, but it's the truth for some of us.

I know about that whole size 10 thing, for the time being, it will have to be on hold.  Presently, I am a size 13.  Now, this pre illness, pre CAPi [9] woman was a lean mean fit machine.

I have put some weight on with the thyroid issues & now the flip of the former 60% protein lifestyle I lead before.  I don't like it, but, I have decided that one problem at a time is easier to deal with.

Exhaustion has kept me from exercising like I would like.  I know that is going to change when I eradicate most of this beast within!

I don't have a goat, though, if I lived on an acreage I might have one, along with a burro, donkey, jersey cow & some pet pigs, 5 dogs, a few cats & oh ya, one of those white parrots. (that would be alot of work)

I have 4 cats, 3 hedgehogs (1 pregnant), nesting Robins, Blue Tits, Black Caps and Starlings. I could try milking the Hedgehog but all the spikes might make it a bit painful.

3. Buy several pairs of Levis with elasticated inserts (for the larger cowgirl in your life), bucket x 2 and waterproof leggings, cheap pair will do, only required for initial milking practice.

I just received the HUGE jar of Chlorella to refill my smaller one I keep in the kitchen.

One of our bedroom communitys just outside of town uses sheep for their public property to keep the lawn down.  They have a herder who moves them around & the sheep leave fertilizer in return for their work!

Ooooh Sarah thanks. The thought of cramming down all those carbs was making me feel ill. Having read that and seen something about avoiding oily fish, I love smoked salmon, I was having visions of being an MSi [33] free Bessie Bunter! It's bad enough being known round the village as "that barmy cat woman with the hedgehogs". I could do without being the "fat bird with the goat".

I too love chocolate, Belgian or any other kind, but I've discovered it's probably the culprit that's making me bunged up so I'm having to avoid it. Sigh.

If you can get hold of it, try the Dutch chocolate, Droste. Oooooooh yummmmy.
