Skin Poo!
By Mark Hall
Created 04/27/2008 - 5:23am

  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
  • Doxycycline
  • NAC
  • Roxithromycin

Just a quick blog entry.  For most of Paula's life, she hasn't produced very much sweat at all - virtually unnoticeable in fact.  She always complains about mine though! :-)

Since starting on the Roxi, she is sweating again, much to her disgust, but to my delight, as I know that this means she is getting rid of more toxins in her body than she used to.

She calls it skin poo!

:-)

Paula has also mentioned to me today, that another symptom that she gets that is largely reduced this past month, is the lack of cold and painful feet and other extremeties.  I would continually have to put her bed socks on, no matter what the temperature was in the bedroom.  This rarely happens now.

Submitted by Michèle on Mon, 2008-04-28 01:52.

In a number of people whose skin is affected by Cpni [1], hair growth stops, or is greatly reduced.   Not only does the hair on my head come and go (more coming than going now) but I have very little hair on my body, including my legs.   Now I know that for most women shaving our legs is a bit of a chore, but for me it would be a sign that I am really on the mend and nearing the end of my treatment.

Paula said to me that this

Submitted by Mark Hall on Sat, 2008-05-03 16:38.

Paula said to me that this is interesting cos she has never had to shave her legs in her life.  She is 42 now.  But she put it down to being blonde and with very fine hair.  She says she would hate to have to shave her legs.

But she did always wonder why the the hair on her head took so long to grow.  She would only need a trim once per year! Recently she has noticed her head hair has grown much quicker after having it hacked off by not even an amateaur hairdresser last July - me! It must have grown 3 inches in the last 10 months which for Paula is a hell of a lot.

Congratulations! There may be 100 symptoms to choose from, but there are also at least 100 "I am getting better" signs. This is one that so many of us, including me, have seen. It is interesting that it shows up so early.

Leg hair -- wait a minute!  I've been told by many people older than myself that as you get older you stop growing hair on your arms and legs. I assumed that was one of the rare bonuses of aging.

Submitted by ruthless1 on Sat, 2008-05-03 22:04.

I heard that too Nancy.  I have never had much hair on my legs, not much on my brows & quite blonde (I dye it to match my hair) & very little blonde hair on my arms.  My scalp hair is fine & not that much of it too!  But, God has a sense of humour, he has given me some new hair growth on my upper lip & hair where women don't really want it!!! LOL

This is probably more information than you all needed to know.

Submitted by ruthless1 on Sat, 2008-05-03 22:08.

This is good news Paula.  Perhaps the beasts are leaving the skin.  Is Paula taking biotin as this is supposed to help the hair!

I have been sweating like crazy, lots of skin poo - 2 shower days!  Good thing husband is 8 days on sun up to sun down right now as it gets a little gamey around here!  So, I am dry brushing & just started the Lymph cleanse.

I am so glad we had this little talk, lol

I don't sweat. In my 20s I stopped having to shave my legs. By my early 30s I didn't have to shave my underarms and now the only real body hair I have anywhere is my forearms, face and head. I learn so much on this site!  I look forward to getting all sweating, and  furry. :)
