Sounds like menopause. The CAPi [2] alternates the sweats with freezes (what fun!). But the below normal temperature is the norm for cpni [4]. f only you could store up this heat for when you'll need it.

You might want to get a saliva hormone test done. check out Rocky Mountain Labs in Alberta, they can send you a kit to send your spit away in!
I am doing the natural HRT, added Dong Qaui, & Black Cohash, slowly helping with the sweats & flashes.

Gee, that's too bad. I started CAPi [2] 6 months after menopause so the only one-two punch I got was 1) night sweats; 2) strip down to cool off; 3) shiver from evaporated sweat. CAP, at it's worst, is worse. Cold as a shivering corpse. Brr.

I'm long, long past the menopause (hysterectomy in my 30s) but I get the hot flushes, night sweats and the cold snaps. Layers come on and off all day... These are usually signs of creeping porphyriai [21] for me.... Time for me to make sure I am not overloading my liver and taking appropriate measure for dealing with the big P.

I started menopause aged 38
I started menopause aged 38 and it just went on and on. I'm now 52 and although the monthlies stopped a few years ago after I came off HRT, I still get hot flushes. Nothing like ripping off all your clothes in the middle of winter and charging out into the garden to try and cool down
And yes, after eating a large hot meal, or drinking a cup of tea or coffee just before bed time, I burn up a storm.
On the bright side, eating a lot of salads really helps with weight loss. I've managed to lose 21lbs over the winter and can finally get back into all the clothes I wore before going on HRT. YAY!
I haven't started CAPi [2] yet, just about to start on Doxyi [7], so I'll be intrigued to see what happens.Having said that, I saw David Wheldoni [25] yesterday and he said that he got incredible sweats when he was on CAP. I assume that was unlikely to have been menopause.
