Horny Goat weed experience
By padeyas
Created 03/20/2008 - 1:45pm

does anyone have experience with the use of horny goat weed?  my physician would like me to try it to warm my hands/feet up.

does anyone have experience with this herb?  i have always been a LITTLE weary about the use of herbs as MANY times they possess MORE side effects then prescription drugs.  well, i'd love to hear ANY input on its use or other methods to warm the peripherals (hands/feet).

On the supplement chart, it is mentioned to be particularly helpful in reducing muscle pain of FM. I have not yet tried it, but maybe I should. -kk2

Do you think it actually increases the testosterone? For a woman that would actually increase your libido get rid of fat and make muscle building easier. Women have to be careful

Submitted by sharon on Sat, 2008-03-22 08:08.

Women have to be careful about testosterone. testosterone converts into estrogen. you can unknowingly make yourself estrogen dominant. here is a link that has a chart that shows how hormones are converted. it is about halfway down the page.

I don't get it really, I have put on weight, my thyroid is screwy, I upped my progesterone cream & still hot flashing & nite sweats! yoi vay!
