My niece took a fistful of papers to her doctor because she has rosaceai [1], chronic bronchitis/asthmai [2], chronic sinusitis, and what looks to me like GFAi [3]. I highlighted the appropriate passages.
He
Anyway, she says he ordered an "ACE Chlamydia Level" test on one gram of blood. Anyone know what that is about?

Hi Ron, Sorry to hear about [14]
Hi Ron,
Sorry to hear about your niece's health problems and this experience with her doctor. I know it can be kind of frustrating.
I don't know anything other than what Jim mentioned about an ACE test, but just in case you didn't know, sarcoidosis is one of the conditions a physician might want to rule out when diagnosing someone with rosaceai [1], along with systemic lupus erythematosus, carcinoid syndrome and a few others. See table 3 in the following doc for a good list:

Thanks, everyone -- those
Thanks, everyone -- those look "reasonable." I hate working second or third hand, but you guys managed a good guess at even greater distance.
I suspect my niece is trying to get comprehensive results from an incident-oriented doctor. I'll pass along the info; what she'll do with it, who can tell?
