Stratton et al found evidence of Cpni [1] in interstitial cystitisi [2] (IC) in a study which is listed in our research pages. In a recent web excursion I found this researcher's page which describes a number of studies finding quite high rates of Cpn in prostatitis, BHP, and even prostatei [3] cancer:

I had a quite giggle to myself when I read this phrase though: "Chlamydia Pneumoniae (C.p.) is one of the newest pathogens of the respiratory tract in humans."
Did it not exist before it was discovered?

There was a relationship
There was a relationship for me. I can chronic prostatitis since my early twenties. It was largely blown off by my pc doc. I was diagnosed with prostatei [3] cancer at the age of 43. I was diagnosed with CPNi [1] 3 months before my cancer was detected. Threre was a clear relationship for me. Hope that helps.
