encouragement

Hello everyone. hope everyones making progress on there treatment.  Its been a long journey for me and It seems to be getting better since I started the Wheldon protocol. I have to say It is very tiring and exuasting. Its seems like all I do is take supplementsi and antibioticsi all the time in between trying to live a normal life. I miss my old self that woke up every morning without worrying about how im going to feel that day thats for sure. Im sure after I am through with the protocol I can start to live a pretty good healthy life. Sometimes I cant believe this happened to me. Sometimes it feels as though im living a dream and its not real but I am very thankful to God that I found you guys. Everyone here has been my backbone of support. Im sure everyone here thinks how could this happened to them. One minute your as healthy as a ox and the next your sick as a dog all the time. But I just keep praying everyday and hope we all get better. Its wierd how this bacteria can wreck so much havoc on our body and  or families becuase I never heard of such illnesses until 8 months after my sickness while doing research and found this website (a blessing in disguise). The medical world has a lot of keching up to do. Today wasnt so bad. a little nasues, fatigue and depressed along with the usual arthritis and urithritis. I dont know what Id do without God. Dr Wheldon is near 60 years old and he seems to have put away most of the sickness and is handling the remnants of it quite well. I have read a lot of post of people suffering for a long time and a lot worst then me but please have hope becuase there is light at the end of the tunnel. Just take it one day at a time and God will carry you. The protocol works just keep on it. Remember its just a body the illness cant touch our spirit. If anyone wants to talk just email me. Im here for you the whole way. Well got to go but God bless also Im going to post my little research I did on herbs that seem to help.

Olive leaf extract, bearberry, Pycnogenols, licorice (for depression and alot of other things). You can google these herbs if you want. Also does anyone know how many herbs are safe to take. I take abut 4 herbs right now.

leemcghee,

I appreciate these encouraging words--all true for me as well.  I feel raised up and hopeful even in these rough days of treatment!  I am finding this to be true more and more--that we are helping each other through.

Thanks for lighting another candle in this dark tunnel!

:)

Lee, I've been ill for 18

Lee, I've been ill for 18 years with fmsi/cfsi, etc.  On antibioticsi 17 yrs straight for chronic sinus infectionsi.  I have been to hell and back a number of times.  I remember praying for God to let me die.  I'm glad He didn't answer that one!  I've had good come out of this.  God allowed me to start a prayer shawl ministry at my church 3 years ago so blessings have come to others from my suffering.  I wouldn't be the person I am today if I had been well.  God/Jesus is the only reason I am still here.  I guess He's not finished with me yet and you either.  God bless and take care - Lynnp

Lee, I don't know how many

Lee,

I don't know how many herbs are safe to take but you do need to pulse them.  For example, you can take them for a few weeks and then stop for a few weeks.  It gives your body a chance to clear them.

BTW, I'm with all of you on this... if it wasn't for this illness and the support groups I've encountered because of medical research, I wouldn't have met the wonderful friends I've made along the road to wellness.  My faith in God is the only thing that keeps me bouyant at times too.

Happy 4th of July all and yes, I do believe I have much to celebrate!!!  Wink

Don't believe everything you think!

It's interesting how many

It's interesting how many of us are people of faith on this protocol. I wonder if that is coincidence or if our Creator is answering our cries and directing our paths to this treatment protocol.

Tody - Also find it

Tody - Also find it curious how many here are artists as well.  Perhaps having a creative, imaginative, innovative and open mind is another common denominator of many Cappers.

People may perhaps need to be able to visualize something beyond the depressing status quo that so many doctors offer...

Lee - Press on - you are clearly making head way!

Lee,I am very glad you are

Lee,

I am very glad you are keeping on!!.  Onward & Upward.

I am here by the grace of God our father in answer to my prayers.   It is in brokenness that we are able to develop a lasting intimate relationship with him and that is all he wants from us.  The reward is an eternal life after this one that words will not describe; God doesn't think like we do.  Maybe we will be able to think more like him then.

I was very stubborn in recognizing when to stop hurting myself by flogging this poor body from 60 hr works weeks to 12 & even that was pushing it.  All of this is for a greater purpose.  God makes use of all the things we do, even if he would have advised us against it.

God is not done with me yet, nor is Satan the fallen one.  He loves to attack believers in his cause to take us away from God.  I am very pleased that many of us keep turning back to God, in good times with praise & in bad times with praise, as he is the light and the strength.  It is a wonderful day when I hear him; his voice is the kind one.  The negative thoughts are the dark ones, they love nothing more than make us all miserable to the max.

God is GREAT, ALLL the time!

You are all in my prayers.

Daisy, so interesting  to

Daisy, so interesting  to note about the ability to look beyond our circumstances to see the possibilites.  I imagine there are those that are sort of mainstream, linear thinkers that could not imagine going out on a limb and out of the box like Cappers do. I think you are right that you have to have some creativity and possibly faith in believing that there are possibilities out there to be realized. I feel my creativity creeping back. My husband has been urging me to paint again and I have started to think about subject matter and have been looking at my inventory of supplies etc. I hope that with the dawn of new mental clarity and physical strength will come a infilling of creative spirit as well.

Lee, you will get there.

Lee, you will get there. You obviously are "one of us" and have the fortitude. Stay with us!

Tody, with that attitude, it will come. Remember all this when you are, as Daisy said, hibernating during your next pulse. Maybe with a pile of good books, or a bird book. What kind of subjects do you like to paint?

Hi Lee, At the 6 month

Hi Lee, At the 6 month point in my Wheldon CAPi, I began to see the glimmer of my "old self" beginning to resurface.  It is now a year and the comparison to my situation one year ago is quite a contrast.  Physically, mentally and emotionally I am stronger and more able.  I am beginning to take care of business, projects and responsibilities that I was unable to attend to after my steady decline of years duration.   So I encourage you to keep on keeping on the Wheldon CAP.  For me it did get so much better.   I 'm in for the 3 to 5 year plan, life on the long term plan is a life that has become increasingly satisfying for me and that is such a sharp contrast that it is worth the attention to the schedules and supplement sorting and and adjusting, keep my stock up and available and the expense of it all.   At times it does seem heavy yet when contrasted to the alternative for me this is the way for me to continue.

Louise
