I have emailed Bleu and Jim

I have emailed Bleu and Jim with each of these as they've appeared today. (I hopped online several times today and it seems each time I did, I found another spam post.) Now we have to wait til one of them sees the emails and has a spare moment to act on them. I'm betting Bleu is asleep by now, but Jim should catch it soon.

I'm getting very frustrated

I'm getting very frustrated here, about 35% of all my posts are disappearing, I see them come up but next time I look they are gone.   Was it Odhilda who was having the same problem... I sometimes include links in these posts, but they are mostly internal links.... Has it something to do with the fact that we are in Europe, I know I had problems logging on to Thisisms in the beginning until the webmaster there managed to trace the routing... and fixed it.  Could this also be the reason not all functions work for me?   I've tried a couple of browsers but this does not make any difference...

Michele   the spam filter

Michele   the spam filter is set to highlight any posts that have more than 5 links (if I remember) so limit the amount of links you put into posts.

Michele- I have checked

Michele- I have checked through the sequestered spam and there are none of your posts in it. So I don't think the spam filters are the problem. This must be terribly frustrating to spend time on posts and have them disappear. I hope you are writing them up on a text editor on your own computer and pasting them here so you don't loose all your work. Perhaps Bleu will have some notions about where else the problem could be if it's not browser related.

Thanks Jim and Bleu, If I

Thanks Jim and Bleu, If I intend to write a long and complicated blog I do write it off line, but often I just get writing and it ends up being a long blog before you know it.   I'm pleased it is not spam related one less place to look.

The website has been moving very slowly in the last couple of weeks and it could be something to do with my server, I'm going to have to look into that.   There have been times on a daily basis when the site does not respond when moving from page to page...   Maybe my messages got lost in that space...

 Hey Bleu- the site does

Hey Bleu- the site does seem a bit slower. Last time that occured we were coopted by a spammer who was stealing our bandwidth for email spam. Any way to check this out? Might also need to do the security update from Drupal if we are lagging on this.

there are some things

there are some things recently we found with other drupal sites that we run that was clogging the server up. I will look into it today. Most likely its nothing but congestion on the net, or from our server. The site is running smoothly now as I use it. I do recommend however copying your text into the cache before posting, on mac its apple key and 'c' and on pc i think its control and 'c', that way if anything goes wrong you have it in the cache, and apple 'v' will paste it back out.
