Just checking in--it's been a long time.

Greetings to all my friends on CpnHelp,

Been a while since I posted a blog. Last year, at the end of the summer, I went on the Buhner herbs for Cpn. My right arm was feeling swollen and tight. This is the arm that was so painful when I was really ill. Spots that looked like skin cancer popped up on that arm and my chest.

After the first week of herbs, I had a huge headache all day. The next day, my mind felt sharper and clearer. After three weeks the right arm was back to feeling normal and the red spots totally disappeared! Amazing! My energy was better too.

Big mistake--I upped the dosages. That really affected my gut. I had to stop all the herbs.

Caught a virus in Jan. and used some of them but been off the entire protocol until now. My gut still isn't quite normal. Beware of the berberine herbs as they kill off the gut bacteria. I was taking saccromyces Boulardii and other probiotics but berberine is tough on the gut. Buhner says Cpn likes to hang out there.

I had lots of lower back pain on the left side during the treatment. Went on for months. I suspect it was Cpn being driven out of the periformis muscle. And now it's completely gone!

Im going to talk to Dr. P. about all this soon. I asked him to read Buhner's book. He only had the first edition that doesn't cover Cpn.

Some of what may be going on with my intestinal problems may be stress. I can't watch the news lately. It's too disturbing. The political stuff is uber toxic. And quite scary. Been doing yoga and sauna to de stress but I might start taking some herbs for that too.

So that's the scoop. Glad to be retired from my job. Working in my studio full time is wonderful!

Hope you are all finding your path to healing,

Raven

Hi Raven,good to hear you

Hi Raven,

good to hear you progressed well and gained improvements while on the herbal protocol.

I have had similar issues regarding gut issues!

You may want to look at Prebiotic foods. These are great for creating the proper environment for good gut bacteria to grow along with taking probiotic foods or and supplement.

The Greatest Risk of all is Not taking the Risk...

Thanks Darren

Found out I had yeast problems. Had to take some abxi for a UTIi and must have stirred up the yeast. Been treating with a no sugar diet, no sulfur foods (sulfur feeds yeast) Candex, licorice, Pau de Arco, and lots of probiotics. Also bone broth with ginger. Will add in prebiotics in a few days.

starting to feel better already,

Raven
