Few questions about chlamydia trachomatis

Hello to everyone.

First of all I am very sorry to write in this forum, I am fully aware, that it is dedicated to CPNi and not chlamydia trachomatis, but maybe someone would still be able to share some knowledge about it.
I am struggling with CTRi for about 3 months, trying to read as much as I can, but in the end I have just a huge mess in my head.

I have few questions, but before writing them, I would briefly describe my situation.

One day in the beginning of December 2016 my boyfriend got some feeling of burning while peeing and discharge. 2 days after I started to have some mild pain in the pelvic area, that day by day was slowly moving towards up. The mild pain transormed in strong burning feeling, first in one ovary, than in the right kidney, then the other ovary... After that I developed pain in the groin lymphnodes, especially while moving. Got discahrge, mild pain in throat, wierd cramps coming and going in whole body, like someone would poke me with a knife...ecc.

My bf developed joint pain and problems with eyes. He tested positive for chlamydia trachomatis, I was negative. He got the first antibioticsi doses and after he retested positive.
I took some antibiotics as well (3000mg azytromicin+10 days metrodinazole+ 10day doxycicline. This helped for few days, the pain in the throat stopped for now completely and discharge as well, but the pain in the lymphnodes persisted.

I am without energy and have 100 other small symptoms.

After finishing with antibiotics I started taking some herbal stuff (scutellaria baicalensis, cat's claw, astragalus, artemisia, tons of garlic. We are also keeping diet.

I stopped with the herbal stuff for 2 days and made again tests (this time in the lab my bf was making the test) and tested negative again, did the blood tests (IGGi, IGA, IGM) i believe it was elisa test) and it was negative as well.

Tested negative for mycoplasma hominis and ureaplasma as well and some other bacterial tests.

My bf is on some "hardcore" antibiotic therapy without really feeling improvement.

I am waiting for 2 visits, but feel quite hopeless. In the country where I am from, they have absolutely no clue about chlamydia trachomatis. The knowledge is actually on the level of the most trivial cosmpolitan article. My dr after consulting a gynecologist told me to do a PCRi blood test :)

I am sorry for the long writing, Concise writing is not my talent.

My questions are:

- Can herbs make a false negative test? I stopped with them 2 days prior to test.

- Would you recommend some more tests for chlamydia and which? Like the immunofluorescence? Or do you have any suggestion about some other bacterias?

- Is taking biotin and collagene good against chlamydia trachomatis? The more I read the more I don't understand at all.
- Do you have any bigger side effects from taking big doses of vitaminsi? Like vit D3? I am afraid.

- Do you have any suggestion of some herbal thing that would help the liver and kidneys after taking so many medicines and supplementsi? Somehow I am stressed about my right kidney, that after this infection started to be painful at some moments. I have a movable right kidney.

For the moment thank you a lot in advance.

Hello to you,

what I know is that the Buhner Protocol works for ctri as well as for cpni. I posted it here some time ago.

Users from the German cpn site are successful with the protocol for ctr.

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I found the Buhner protocol and the supplement list on this site and I am trying to follow it.

Do you have a link to the german forum or how can I find it? I was trying to google it, but without success. Since I am quite able to read German, would be useful.

Thanks again.
