Drunk on a glass of ChardonnaySubmitted by Miying Meng on Sat, 2009-06-27 16:47. Hi everybody. I have been doing pretty darn good after my first two weeks in the month pulse sickness faded. So I had a birthday celebration drink last Thursday evening when my dear husband took me out for dinner. First time in seven years I have been well enough. Yay! Anyway, I drank one glass of wine with a meal and I was a giggling idiot afterward. I got out of the restaurant okay. But we decided to take me for a walk before driving home. LOL Oh my gosh. Everytime I looked at my darling man and he gave me one of those looks of his ... I just cracked up. I almost ended up sitting on the ground peeing my pants. What's up with that? It would take a bottle to get that tipsy in the past. It was crazy. This sickness has given me a fatty liver so is that the reason? Or do you know of another one? Thanks for your insight on this. Miying

Positive Cpni and Bb dxi'd November 2006. Previously dx'd RRMSi May 2000. Treated by Lyme MD as of 11/06. Current regimen is tetracycline, Difllucan and Mepron.
If you are CPNi infected
If you are CPNi infected and ıf you are on CAPi that means you have porphiria. Alcohol, in some people, may increase porphiric symptoms in such a high degree that you may get crazy. Never get alcohol anymore unless you eradicated CPN and noy prophiric anymore.
YILMAZ.

KEREM'S TAKECARER;
Suspıcıon of MSi (transient nystagmus during conjugated gaze on february 2008, blepharospazms and some optic complaints on february 2009-no plaque on MRI), Vit D3 started 400 IU and elevated to 2000 ıu ın 40 days.
Well, that makes some sense
Well, that makes some sense to me about the porphyriai causing it and I certainly do not want to "get crazy". LOL I guess I assumed since I was feeling so much better now my porphyria & Cpni was almost gone. But I tend to overlook such things when I haven't felt sick lately. So anyway, I guess that it is good this happened while alone with my husband. Next month is a huge family gathering for my brother-in-law who is turning 50. I will make sure I don't drink any alcohol so I don't embarrass myself. Thanks for your input everybody. This Cpn illness is the strangest thing I have ever been through in my life for sure! Sure glad I have you all to talk to when I feel lost. Thanks! MM
