Skin problems, anyone?

Since a few days after completing my 4th pulse (I'm currently on my 5th one) I've been experiencing some skin problems.

Dry skin exfoliation (on arms, shoulders and torso), and a few patches of mycosis (reddish and dry) at various locations. Such patches seem to respond to topical treatment (although very slowly).

I suppose such skin disorder being related to long-term antibiotic treatment (I hardly ever suffered from).
Should I take a break from ABxi? Any suggestion?

Chapped lips and acne

My daughter is quite distressed with what has been going on on her face the last few days!  She has painful chapped lips.  I was worried it was yeast but she does not have cracks in the creases of her lips and there are no other signs of yeast inside her mouth.  The rim between the inside and outside of the lip is dry, cracked  and burning.  She is coating her lips with vaseline and I have bought a couple of other medicated lip balms but the pain continues on.  This started a few days ago.  Now she did spend a couple of hours outside sledding on Tuesday afternoon.  Yes, she felt well enough to go over to a friend's house to sled and hang out -- this was great.  Could being out in the sun while on the abxi have caused this?  She is very fair but her face did not burn.

I'm stepping off

I have been more debilitated, for a longer continual period of time than ever in my life, since starting the CAPi.

I have been bed ridden almost completely for 6 weeks. I am in pain, I am weak, I throw up almost every day. I finally learn which anti-porphyric and endotoxini measures work best for what, and how and when to take them, when the very measures that are supposed to help me end up making me sicker. I do all the things right so that I don't get side effects -- from anything -- and I am run over and flattened. I should not feel this bad, I'm doing everything not to.

Antibiotics to be available without prescription

This is the news:  In England, possible antibioticsi to be sold over the counter, to treat CHLAMYDIA!

This is the story form<

Oral antibiotics are to be made available for the first time without doctor's prescription under guidelines approved yesterday by the medicines regulator.

A pill to treat chlamydia, the most commonly diagnosed sexually transmitted infection, will become available for purchase in pharmacies across England later this year.

Hen or egg?

Most of the Doctors just look at a symptom and treat it the way they think;  - they know it all.  Then, the diagnose comes, like an etiquette of a product. Does someone looks what is behind the symptom?  Which is the cause, and the cause of this cause?

One Doctor -cardiologist-  saw me and when he found out I was multisymtomatic gave me some pills for the anxiety, nothing else.

introduction and inquiry about topicals

Hello, and thank you for taking the time to read this post.

I was not able to locate information referencing contraindications to my Rx topicals.

Please pardon me if this is covered elsewhere.

I'll start with a bit about where I'm at and have been.

I'm a graphic designer who works from home. I have a happy homelife and a positive worklife. I believe that i am a healthy person, I just do not physically feel like one. I have long suspected that everything I experience is tied together, so am really happy to see this Web site. I want to live my life again: I want to go outside into the sunshine; ride a bike; shop in a store!

Long Term Benefit Questions

hey everyone...  first, i am still a little confused as to if i should post a blog or comments...  whats the difference?  i am still trying to get use to navigating this site...  i do appreciate all the feedback..

ATP and low CD4 counts

Michele 'Fighting' Findlay reaches another milestone...

Another milestone has been reached, I've just finsihed my 30th pulse, and I have a few observations which I think are worth recording and communicating.

From the beginning I have been taking 200mg Doxycycline daily and 250mg Azithromycin MWF continuously and done a 5 day flagyli pulse every three weeks, so I would take 1200mg flagyl on MTWTF of one week and take the following week-end and the next two complete weeks off.

In that time the alopecia">i recovered to so such an extent that I need to go to the hairdresser once more. The hair still goes through phases of falling out, but the balance is on regrowth.

my story...

Ok, my name is john. i'm going to try to write this quick and keep it relatively short because my thoughts come and GO pretty fast. i've gotten used to it and it only irritates me in times like this when it's important for me to get the thoughts on the paper fast. I'm here because of a friend and a discussion that we were having about the length of time someone can have these problems and still be moderately functional as a person. JimK's name was brought up because apparently he had this problem for quite some time. i would have written him directly but i thought it would be more appropriate to do this...

skin disorder

during a medical follow up exam the physician noticed a number of small red dots scattered around my arms, stomach and back. i've noticed them but attributed them to the fact that i'm no longer a youngish person. the physician expressed concern. has anyone else experienced anything like this? could these dots develop as a result of the medication or the chlamydia itself? thank you all....

Skin Tag Wierdness

Sometime between 14 to 7 days ago, virtually all the skin tags around my neck and shoulders turned into flat brownish patches. Now there's just pink, new skin like a small sore is healed where many of them were. I think they're gone!

I noticed it a week ago. I had just removed a particularly annoying one the week before that. I was checking how it was healing, and here I was covered with these dry, brownish patches where all the others had been. I showed Dianna, and she confirmed it.

I suppose my immunei system is recovering enough to keep the HPV suppressed again. I'm going to take it as a sign of my improving health. I've never heard of this, so thought I'd better record it. If they come back, I'll post here again and let everyone know.

I am Hilly and have been suffering from Lyme Disease and other tick related diseasesi for some time.  I also have Morgellons, and feel I probably have chlamydia pneumonia although it has'nt been diagnosed as such.
