Malcom... this is worrisome,
Malcom... this is worrisome, I know. About a month ago I found an article and am trying to locate it... the type/color of blood in your stool can determine where it is coming from (possible hemorroid, large intestine, small intestine) I am trying to find the link as it was very informative. Not a doc, but could you possibly have an internal hemorroid or could it be the CPNi being kicked out of your gut?? Do you have pain or discomfort? I would probably get it checked out with a gastro just to ease the mind.....
I have been experiencing gut/colon problems as well... when I had a colonoscopy in March the gastro said I had a "strange area that appeared to be (or have been? he never clarified or wanted to treat) of infection" in the splenic flexure area. I believe it's the CPN, as there is nothing else to explain it!

An Itinerary in Light and Shadow...........Completed Stratton/Wheldon regime for aggressive secondary progressive MSi in June 2007, after four years, three of which intermittent. Still slowly improving and no exacerbation since starting. EDSSi was 7, now 2, less on a good day.
