21st pulse 17th full 5 day pulse

Forgot to post this - ooops...

Back October 1st to 5th I did this pulse...

Still feel at my worst immediately before a pulse...

Still taking pyruvate most days - skip it some days as I sleep late and do not want to wait 1 hour for breakfast and antibioticsi...

Sore tendons and muscles back - although not as severe as they have been in the past.

HR still gets silly high just walking across a room, or taking a shower...   Need to find something to help with that...

Contemplating taking a bunch of vitaminsi/cofactors etc from the CFSi forums... perhaps to help the HR etc...

I'm trying D-ribose and monitoring HR and keeping to down to limit the Post Exertional Malaise... also doing anaerobic exercise(stretching, squats etc) when I'm able to try to increase strength without taxing aerobic system... (keeping HR down)

Hey Tiger ...You know that I

Hey Tiger ...

You know that I wish you well on this.  You have already got the measure of this and have made improvements.  You are a very clever person indeed and will be able to tweek things to overcome some of these annoying symptoms.

I know that you already know quite a bit about herbal remedies.  You might already have considered the addition of HAWTHORNE to your regime.

As an aside, I don't have the the holy secret of lower heart rate (or blood pressure for that matter). I do know how to raise both blood pressure and heart rate.  Here's my trick: I ring my GPs surgery and make a simple request to the receptionist.  Within 90 seconds they can manage to get both my blood pressure and my heart rate up there, to dangerous levels.  I know that tip is not much use to you at the moment, Tiger ... but you never know; one day you may have low heart rate / pressure.

Good luck and remember:

I actually have low blood

I actually have low blood pressure - always have...

I was a bit of a health freak when I had a life. Gym workouts, running, healthy eating blah blah blah...

The first time I got CFSi they sent me to a cardiologist... (back in the 90s not so much interest in CFS except in eliminating other causes and then deciding we were nut cases)
She ends up hooking me to a holter monitor for a day... when I go back she says "How do you feel when you wake up?"  I tell her Ok - but tired(CFS what does she expect) "Yeah but how do you feel?"   Turns out she is having a breakdown because my blood pressure is sooooooo looow overnight. It rises fine as I wake - but from such a low base that it takes forever to get to a decent level... I had to point out that even healthy I never got straight up and in the shower as that meant being hauled out of it after fainting... I had developd the tactic of slowly hauling myself up a pile of pillows to get upright... then slowly working legs over the edge of bed... then getting up... (or crawling to toilet if time required a faster rise).
She listened to my theory of "needing more salt" and agreed that I did not need a LOW salt diet(a I had been eating - healthy)... I had been trying to tell the doctors I needed salt - kept wanting crisps and I only like HOT chips usually... She agreed. EAT SALT... I do not like salt except on chips, tomato, egg and (now after lots of effort) some meat like a steak or lamb chop.   So when I eat it I use it liberally(nice sea salt).  I take great delight in telling people "My cardiologist says eat more salt!"

To raise Heart Rate/ BP  - ring a government department! We just had a census here - total fiasco! They could not organise a piss up in a brewery!
